In the bustling streets of London, a vibrant red double-decker bus gracefully enters the frame from the left, adding a splash of colour to the urban scene. Passersby stroll past Air Street while the iconic symbol of London's transport system makes its way through the busy thoroughfare near Piccadilly Circus. The historic architecture juxtaposed with little touches of modernity inspired me to take this photo, capturing the energy of the British capital.
Esan Swan is a professional photographer, journalist and picture editor at the Financial Times in London. With deep roots in his community and heritage, his work seeks to represent the rich multicultural storytelling that inspired him in his youth and continues to do so now well into his career.
