Arthur Ravenel Fiery Sunset

Piece description from the artist

What a boldly stunning magic moment sunset at Charleston South Carolina's (USA) beautiful Arthur Ravenel Bridge. I took this just as the bridge lights started to turn on. Before our trip, I knew the bridge was the main thing I wanted to capture along with the Morris Island Lighthouse. I only had one evening available to capture it and I kept praying for the Lord to let me know when night that would be because I wanted a beautiful sunset. I didn't know until that day when I finally saw some clouds in sky and I got the deep feeling that, that was the night to go. Boy did the Lord show is glory. It's like a painting in the sky. These colors are real. I didn't saturate the photo. Opening in 2005, this eight lane Bridge is 1,546 long and connects Charleston and Mt. Pleasant. It's the 3rd longest cable-stayed bridges in the Western Hemisphere, and goes over the Cooper River.
