Piece description from the artist
Mountain bikers as myself carry on about the concept of flow… a feeling, more than anything, of being commensurate in spirit and motion, with the land, the bike, and the ride. A bit of a nebulous sentiment, but very real to mountain bikers, I aimed to capture this concept relative to the autumn landscape of the San Juan Mountains. Having pre visualized the image and the technique to capture the image, it still took dozens of passes and pans before my model and I were able to achieve the final result: Autumn flow!
