Photos of warplanes remind me of my late grandfather, who used to take me to the local airshows every year. I was mesmerized by the loud engines, and he always reminded me that the noises were a daily occurrence during the blitz. It's a pleasure that I get to see this incredible machines fly without the danger of wartime, and an even greater pleasure to take pictures of them. I added the moody backdrop in Photoshop to create a compelling scene
From the smallest details of macro to the vast panorama of a landscape, with a quick stop off at many subjects in between, Rick's passion for detail and capturing the moment has inspired him to shoot many different genres. He enjoys traveling to different parts of the world and will take his camera, even on work trips. More recently, he has been practicing creating artistic renditions of his photograph.
