Barn

Piece description from the artist

This is a colorful red barn rural scene affectionately painted with interesting patterns, lines and textures in a bold, graphic, striking composition. I enjoy the surprising contrast of rural versus urban scenes and welcome the challenge of switching back and forth between the two genres as it suites me. Travel to New York City inspires me to paint urban landscapes when the following week I could be driving across the rural part of south central Florida on my way to Miami and spot a beautiful farm scene that excites me to paint it.
