Piece description from the artist
This photograph tells stories, playing back the sound and video of an old Harlem life I’ve often imagined. An old basketball, left or forgotten, on the busy sidewalk by graffiti on a weathered building entrance. I wonder if the man walking by used to sit on this stoop talking to neighbors while watching people play basketball?
