Bats at Sunset

Piece description from the artist

The largest urban bat colony in North America lives under Ann W. Richards Congress Avenue Bridge. During "bat season", traditionally from March to October, they appear like dark undulating clouds across the sky. They are one of my favorite subjects to shoot in Austin, both from the ground and with the drone. This drone shot captures a stream of bats leaving the bridge with bat viewers watching from the bridge and the sun setting on the horizon.
