Piece description from the artist
This freehand digital painting was begun in response to the invasion of Crimea by Russia. The delights of the beach, painted in colors suggesting the Ukrainian flag, were made dangerous for Ukrainian people by Russian military bd naval activities in the Black Sea. The painting was finished in 2024 as the war dragged on and on, showing a serene, sunny, inviting beach scene with a warning sign saying "Danger Mines."
