Piece description from the artist
This imaginative view was recently found in the artist's Swiss collection. It shows a scene from the Lauterbrunner-Kleine Scheidegg cog train going uphill. The image has been given a dramatically beautiful treatment, first, from shooting through the train’s thick plexiglass window that removed high spatial frequencies and resulted in a painterly appearance; and secondly, by adding a dramatic morning sky using On1 software. The image was enhanced by digital overpainting. When ordered as an original piece from the artist, this gallery-wrapped image is printed on archival Epson Gloss Canvas using a professional Epson P6000 24-inch wide printer with final size 20W by 30H inches high, plus gallery wrap, and protected by two coats of clear lacquer, with artist signature and edition number in the lower right. It can be delivered to you in a shipping tube to save you large shipping costs and allow you to select your own final look. Makes a great gift! Editions never run more than 25 original prints and then are closed forever. Alternatively, it can be delivered on Fredrix canvas stretchers securely wrapped in a sturdy shipping box. A certificate of completion is available on request.
