Piece description from the artist
I paint the heart a lot. Why? Well, it was the first shape I had the most problem with mastering as a kid. Curved lines are tricky and take a ton of practice to get right. I'll never forget how powerful I felt when I drew my first successful heart. Whenever you see a heart in my work, know that I am giving my kid-self a high-five. You can achieve anything if you stay the course.
