This is a painting created with alcohol inks, an airbrush, and just playing around with new alcohol ink techniques. The colors are plum, lavender, pink, and coral. The shapes and colors in the painting resemble cattleya, or corsage orchids because of their brightness and boldness.
Denise is an artist from Arvada, Colorado. She draws her inspiration for painting from nature and likes to paint landscapes. Since she is surrounded by the beauty of the mountains of Colorado, there is a lot of inspiration to draw upon. She also recently has begun branching out to abstract painting with acrylic paints and experimenting with various filters in digital graphics applications.
