Normally these boats would be out and all over the lake with all sorts of people enjoying them, but after an afternoon of rain all the boats were returned to shore and the lake took on a serene calm.
Mark Lauman began practicing photography in early 2008 and quickly developed a passion for the art of the still image. His love for this artistic outlet stems from the clarity it provides the viewer; Mark is able to morph an initially abstract concept into an image with distinct aspects. He believes that any viewer should be able to understand his work, and that all viewers should feel an invitation to consider the intentions behind each piece.
Mark currently lives and works in Golden, Colorado.
