Blue Garden is a painting of spring flowers in my garden. Blue flowers are not very common but there are Delphiniums, Forget-Me-Nots, and Morning Glories, all of which I have grown at one time or another. I am a mad gardener!
Cynthia Fletcher is a painter, working in oil, acrylic, and digital media. Her style is abstract with jewel-tone color, texture, layering, and symbolism. Nature is her chief inspiration, and her work focuses on experiences there, using abstraction to go beyond form to capture and communicate light, color, and sensation.
Fletcher is also a Landscape Architect who has lived and worked in a variety of environments from Chicago to the rainforest of Panama. Her lakeside studio is located in Oklahoma City.
