Growing up three things I loved were The Borrowers by Mary Norton, The Minpins by Roald Dahl, and Cicely Mary Barker flower fairy illustrations (I used to have a flower fairy address book, and I would stare at it for ages.)

These were part of the inspiration for this coloured pencil illustration. Not forgetting of course my love for blueberries! We are very lucky to grow blueberry plants in our garden, and they are doing so well; it's also really relaxing picking them.
