Don began to mute his palette with his Boardwalk series looking for weathered effects brought on by time and climate and evoking a nostalgic memory
Don’s work is a crossover between pure abstraction and references to the natural world. Color and texture are key elements in his work. His effort is to play with chaos and create balance through layers of transparent color and hue.
