Bot Bop in Downtown Boston

Piece description from the artist

This artwork bursts with playful energy and celebrates the joy of movement and self-expression. A young person, with vibrant blue hair and a confident stance, dances with abandon alongside a trio of quirky robots. The artist's use of bold lines, bright colors, and a dynamic composition creates a sense of fun and freedom. The cityscape backdrop hints at a world where technology and human creativity intertwine, while the scattered paint splatters add a touch of spontaneous artistry. This piece is an ode to the joy of dance, the power of imagination, and the unique connections we can form with technology.

About Malia Wofford

Fayetteville, GA

Malia Joy was born and raised in Los Angeles county. When she was a toddler, her artistic talent began to emerge. She used her mother's lipstick and foundation to paint on her walls and bedspread! She scribbled and colored in all her books and her father's Bible. Now she colors in her own Bible!

Growing up, Malia experimented with a variety of art forms. At age 13, she took fashion design lessons from a former Vogue fashion designer. The following year she switched gears and decided to be trained in oil painting and acrylic painting.

Before graduating high school, her art was shown at local auctions and in Borders Bookstores. An Old Town Pasadena boutique sold her handmade greeting cards. She has had private commissions for murals and artwork.

Ms. Wofford has been able to use her creative skills in her freelance business throughout her professional life and work on projects related to Disney English, Netflix, and Universal Music.

Malia hopes to expand her art into the home goods industry and become a print and product design household name.
