Starbursts have been added to this bright dramatic photo facing the sunlight of pink weeping cherry tree branches. This image is purposely focused on one small bloom blurring out the rest and slightly overexposed to give it this dramatic look. Weeping cherry trees create a magnificent spring season display with their white, soft pink or pink blossoms. I believe this is a Prunus Pendula (Pendula Rosea). It's considered one of the finest weeping cherries. It is an ornamental or deciduous tree that has long arching and flexible branches. I took this at Nathanael Greene Park in Springfield Missouri, United States.
