Butterfly Collection was inspired by butterflies in my garden. I live on the monarch butterfly migration route and my garden is filled with butterflies in late summer.
Colors are pewter butterflies on a lacy violet-blue and white background. The butterflies are all different and have a raised texture. Abstract minimalist style with a soft and serene vibe.

Cynthia Fletcher is a painter, working in oil, acrylic, and digital media. Her style is abstract with jewel-tone color, texture, layering, and symbolism. Nature is her chief inspiration, and her work focuses on experiences there, using abstraction to go beyond form to capture and communicate light, color, and sensation.
Fletcher is also a Landscape Architect who has lived and worked in a variety of environments from Chicago to the rainforest of Panama. Her lakeside studio is located in Oklahoma City.
