Bygone Days

Piece description from the artist

This old log cabin was built by hand by the owners of a small farm, nestled against the steep walls of a rocky valley in Idaho. In each log, the hand-hewn marks can be seen, and I admire that these old buildings remain standing even though they've been abandoned for decades. After weathering the harsh weather of the area, these old logs have attained a beautiful rustic patina that only comes with time. I enjoy capturing these old relics before they are forever gone from the landscape.
