Can You See The Forest Through The Masts

Piece description from the artist

A group of sailboats captured at San Diego Harbor. San Diego, California, USA. Growing up in San Diego one has the chance to be near water on the coast, at the bays, and the harbors. I love the intersection of nature and man-made objects in and around San Diego Harbor. Instead of the traditional single-shot photograph of boats moored in the harbor, I wanted to create an abstract or impressionistic work. The technique used here was one of intentional camera movement. With this technique it creates a one-of-a-kind photograph because each time the camera is moved in this way it would be impossible to create the same exact photograph each time.

Thank you for your interest in my work.
