Cape Girardeau Downtown Main St Painterly

Piece description from the artist

Vertical view looking down the middle of Main Street towards an old fashioned looking clock tower that sits at the Themis intersection with the Bill Emerson Memorial Bridge in the background. This is in downtown Cape Girardeau, Missouri, United States. The cable-stayed bridge crosses the Mississippi River. Buildings and shops line each side of the street showing the towns urban lifestyle. The clock was put into place on May 21, 1986. Some locals complain about people not paying attention to the road and often hit and knock over the smaller post that surround it to help protect it. I took this photo and turned it into a water color painting with texture look.
