Catching an Updraft

Robert has painted throughout his life. He is basically a self-taught artist and has developed his talent and style of painting over many years. He has painted in a variety of mediums, styles and genre, but eventually focused on becoming an accomplished landscape and wildlife artist.

Bob currently lives in Kokomo, Indiana. Growing up Bob always enjoyed the outdoors. As a young boy he spent much of his time in the countryside observing and learning about nature and wildlife. It is those experiences that have given him a deep respect and sincere appreciation of nature and the outdoors. Consequently, they provide him with the inspiration that drives him to attempt to creatively express himself through his art.

During his life he has been able to travel extensively throughout North America while visiting many of the national parks within the United States and Canada. The photos that he has taken on these trips have provided him with the subject matter for his art. In his artwork he simply tries to capture a time, a place, a feeling or a particular subject that will stimulate the feelings and emotions of fellow nature lovers.

Bob's artwork is in many private collections nationally and internationally. He continues to paint and a few of his original paintings are available on the retail market. Some of his artwork is available as limited edition and open edition prints and many images also appear on numerous retail products sold nationally and internationally through various outlets.
