Chasing Rainbows is a celebration of hope, love, and the endless possibilities of a new day. The vibrant circles filled with rainbow shapes symbolize acceptance, happiness, and the divine promise of renewal. The use of gold and copper leaf adds an element of luminosity and richness, reflecting the abundance of autumn and the harvest cycle. The colors evoke the warmth and vibrancy of fall, with its cycles of ripeness, maturity, and transformation. The circles themselves represent oneness, unity, and the infinite flow of life, capturing the balance of the cosmos and the eternal nature of existence.
The art of Cynthia Ligeros incorporates impressionist elements that reveal an inner landscape to the viewer, an image at once familiar and transcendent. She seeks to explore our place in a world that we have created, yet one which also creates us.
