Cherry Blossoms and Arlington Memorial Bridge

WASHINGTON DC, USA – In the distance, Memorial Bridge is mostly obscured by fog. At top right are some of the cherry blossoms along the Potomac on Hains Point. Each spring, the blooming of the nearly 1700 Japanese cherry blossom trees around the Tidal Basin (and about 2000 others nearby) is a major tourist draw for Washington DC.
