Clouds III Serenity Torn Asunder

Piece description from the artist

This figurative artwork is a digital painting showcasing a natural scene that memorializes 2024's Tropical Storm Debby. The focal point is a large formation of fluffy, white and gray clouds in the sky, with an expansive and dynamic portrayal of cloud layers. Beneath the clouds, there is a depiction of a dark, swirling tornado funnel extending downward, contrasting with the serene landscape. Flanking the tornado and in the foreground are lush green trees, indicating a densely vegetated area. The sky is predominantly a bright blue color, with a few smaller, scattered clouds adding depth to the scene. The painting captures the juxtaposition between the calmness of a typical day and the disruptive force of the tornado.
