CLT Rail Yard at Sunset

Piece description from the artist

This particular perspective of the city drew me to this location. The way the rails flow into the skyline and then the skyline into the sky. My challenge was to get the perspective and the timing just right with the sunset. To capture the city lights and the sunset in one shot. After several attempts to get a shot from ground level I decided to use a drone to achieve the perspective I needed. I used a long lens to enlarge the city in the frame. I remember thinking to myself as I was aiming the drone for the shot that this was the one. Everything came together perfectly.
