A lifeguard tower stands alone on a rocky beach during a beautiful sunrise with hues of pink and blue filling the sky. A single bird rests atop the structure, overlooking the smooth, calm sea that reflects the soft colors of dusk.
Photographed at Torrey Pines State Beach in La Jolla, California, USA. The magical colors came from a winter morning at sunrise. It was cold, at least for the La Jolla coast, about 32 degrees, and this coldness at sunrise made for the unique colorations. Thank you for your interest in my work.
Joseph is a self-taught photographer living in San Diego, California. Joseph wants to approach his photography from a place of simplicity and avoid making this enjoyable and creative process overburdened from a technical standpoint. He still continues working to improve his craft all the while though. His photographs are presented in a straightforward way and engage the creative process to produce photographs of familiar subjects in an impressionistic and abstract manner.
