Piece description from the artist
As the New York subway system ages, we're left with relics of the old days, including classic subway tile signposts like this one. I love how dank, dark and dirty some parts of the system are, and how they feel ignored, left for us to watch as they grow old.
Taken at the 4th & 9th subway stop in South Slope.
Michael Dulle is a 32-year-old resident of Brooklyn, New York. He never studied photography in any formal setting (unless you consider the high school photo club formal), but he rarely leaves his house without a camera of some sort. He loves taking photographs, but considers himself more of a documenter than a photographer. Michael simply enjoys capturing and processing interesting images of where he's been and what he's seen.
He has been doing this for almost 20 years now.
