This work is a vibrant and captivating explosion of colours, where the artist has boldly combined the abstract and the expressive. Dominated by a deep and intense blue background, the work radiates a sense of calm and infinity. The omnipresent blue does not fail to evoke infinite skies or vast and mysterious oceans. In the centre, an amalgam of organic shapes and bright spots immediately captures the eye. The touches of luminous yellow, fresh green and bold pink stand out sharply from the background, creating a striking contrast with the intense black spots. These contrasts of light and shadow accentuate a powerful visual dynamic, evoking feelings of movement and energy. The projections and splashes seem to have been applied spontaneously, adding a rich texture and depth to the entire composition. After having explored European landscapes and the feamle beauty, he experienced some abstract paintings. He rapidly found the pleasure of unlimited creative power. He has really become aware that he has started a never ending journey through imagination. People are now eager to see his new visions ! My name is Pol Ledent. Thank you for visiting my portfolio. Pol Ledent was born in 1952 in Belgium. He came to painting in 1989. He started with watercolor but felt rapidly that oil painting would match his way of being. He is a self-taught painter . Nevertheless he took some drawing lessons in a Belgian academy. After taking part into numerous group exhibitions , some galleries in Belgium proposed to him to exhibit his works. Dinant, Bouillon, Brussels , Paris and Moscow in October 2006. He has already sent many paintings to various countries USA ( New-York Buffalo Broadway ) , Santa Cruz,San Diego, San Jose,Los Angeles, Florida,Miami Baton-Rouge),Seattle, grand blanc (MI), to France, to China, to Scotland, to Portugual, to Switzerland, to Australia and ………. As a young man , he went to the University of Louvain (Belgium) where he studied Philosophy and literature !
At the age of forty he took some drawing lessons at the technical school of Dinant( Belgium) for three years
He took part in exhibitions in Paris, Brussels (2 times) , Bouillon and Dinant ( 5 times) !
