The painting depicts the beautiful coastal scenery of Costa Brava (Catalonia, Spain) on a serene and moonlit night. The rocky cliffs, which are a defining feature of the region's landscape, jut out dramatically into the calm sea. Painting has been my passion since childhood. Among many different techniques oil painting is my favorite.
Themes of my paintings are as variegated as our world: cities, people, life, animals, dramatic art, nature. I am greatly influenced by such famous artists like Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Isaac Levitan, Auguste Renoir. My work was strongly influenced by Picasso. The painting Girl on the Ball made a big impression on me in my childhood.
