Piece description from the artist
I viewed this intersection's amazing lines, shapes and intriguing patterns created by the thick bars of the crosswalk, the angles of the sidewalks and the curves of the streets themselves. After walking here hundreds of times on my way to the beautiful Eagle Lake Park and looking at this interesting image, I decided to re-create the image and paint it. It's seems a little different than my other work but it goes that way sometimes. This painting has a striking composition of colors like muted green, pink, lavender, orange-yellow, blue and gray.
