Piece description from the artist
A cool twisted dead tree and a living twisted tree caught my eye as we were hiking this sandy pathway trail that leads through a desert landscape of rock formations and cliffs. Check out the different colors of layers in the rock formation cliffs and their unique smooth round shape. This is along the 6-mile roundtrip hike to Lower Calf Creek Falls in Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. The green vegetation adds some contrast to the orange terrain. A partly cloudy deep blue sky is the perfect natural touch. This is located in Boulder, Utah, United States.
