Gazing out at the desert hillside as the sun sets. Cactus and houses harmonize in a desert town.
A referential abstraction of a desert landscape/cityscape. As in my other paintings, I pieced the color fields together, color by color, to reveal the vibrant and dramatic scenery.
Jude's work focuses on piecing shapes and color together with patterns and bold forms to create representational pieces with. Nature and the relationship of figures in landscapes play a big role in the subject of his work.
Jude works with acrylic paint on canvas and wood panels.
