Piece description from the artist
Along the East Pass as the evening settles in, the Destin Bridge and William T. Marler Bridges stand softly silhouetted against the darkening sky. This area is known as Snorkel Beach. Standing partially behind the swaying sea oats grass, the scene unfolds from a white sand walkway edged by a rugged rock jetty, where the waves gently lap at the shoreline. Behind me, the lively Destin Harbor hums with energy, a stark contrast to the tranquil entry to the harbor ahead. Beyond the bridges lies Crab Island, a favorite gathering spot for boaters, its sandbar is usually bustling with floating restaurants and bars during the day. The blend of natural beauty and vibrant activity paints a picture of Destin's unique charm.
