Eagle Lake Park Entrance

Piece description from the artist

Eagle Lake Park is a special place I spend much of my time walking for exercise and enjoying the outdoors. I particularly liked the way the trees overhang the walkway and create a dark tunnel in the shade on a hot summer day. There is a bench here out of view in this painting that the I take a break and enjoys the trees, birds and many squirrels. I was particularly intrigued by the curve of the walkway into the distance making an interesting perspective. The artwork was painted in rich shades of green, peach, purple with just a touch of red on the poles and fallen leaves.
