Aerial view of the East Side and East River. This is a more unusual view of the East Side taken from a helicopter. I like the leading line of the curved highway directing the viewer's eye to the iconic Empire State Building. This photograph shows a slice of daily life dealing with traffic, parking, apartments, recreation areas on the river, and the surrounding hustle and bustle of Midtown Manhattan.
