"Embers in the Stone" captures the mesmerizing contrast between fiery energy and grounded earthiness. Two glowing red and orange spheres emerge from a rugged, stone-like background, resembling embers embedded within rock. The textured marbling of the spheres, with delicate white cracks, suggests heat and intensity, as if these embers hold a hidden life force. Dark, organic lines resembling branches or roots weave through the piece, adding depth and grounding the powerful, radiant warmth at its core.
Denise is an artist from Arvada, Colorado. She draws her inspiration for painting from nature and likes to paint landscapes. Since she is surrounded by the beauty of the mountains of Colorado, there is a lot of inspiration to draw upon. She also recently has begun branching out to abstract painting with acrylic paints and experimenting with various filters in digital graphics applications.
