Escape was painted by pouring layer over layer over layer of fluid acrylic. I also add texture in between the layers creating more depth. There are deep rich colors built up by the layers and the texture adds depth.

About Lisa Daniel

Lisa paints energetic abstract paintings that are organic, large, and colorful. Pouring on the floor and manipulating multiple layers of thin, fluid acrylic paint, gels, paper, and other mixed media additives. She has been painting this way for decades. Her influences include Helen Frankenthaler, Jackson Pollack, Georgia O’Keefe, and her father, who was also an artist. She has work hanging on walls in private collections, businesses, and commercial buildings throughout the Pacific Northwest, in several states as well as internationally. Lisa has held board positions with various art projects, consulted and collaborated artistically with art events. She also served two 3-year terms as an art commissioner for the City of Fife, WA.
