The painting depicts the peaks of the Pyrenees mountains. The mountains are covered in fog. The sky is flooded with sunlight. The artist used a bold color palette, ranging from muted yellowish tones to vibrant orange-purples. Through these unusually lively tones, the artist conveyed the diversity of nature and its unpredictable beauty. Varnished and signed.
Painting has been my passion since childhood. Among many different techniques oil painting is my favorite.
Themes of my paintings are as variegated as our world: cities, people, life, animals, dramatic art, nature. I am greatly influenced by such famous artists like Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Isaac Levitan, Auguste Renoir. My work was strongly influenced by Picasso. The painting Girl on the Ball made a big impression on me in my childhood.
