Piece description from the artist
Part of the "Psychological Exaggeration" Portfolio. These highly constructed photos are attempting to recreate the anxieties and ideals that the media embeds in our society. I am trying to articulate the impossibly perfect environments that I aspire to. My pictures represent a psychological exaggeration of my reality.
Carlie Bristow is a Boston based photographer who finished her BFA in Photography at The Art Institute of Boston in 2010. She grew up on the seacoast of New Hampshire and Maine.
