My dad and I were at the Colorado Monument and this massive bird was riding the thermals around the canyon, eyeballing us and chasing crows away. One pass he cruised about 20 feet directly over my head, just silent and beautiful in the morning sun. My dad snapped a picture that I used for reference and said to me "It's going to be a special day."
Brian DeYoung grew up outside Chicago, Illinois area and relocated to Savannah, Georgia in 2008. He graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a B.F.A. in illustration.
Illustration has been his passion for a very long time, particularly using traditional media to create his work, along with using his images to create a story. Brian's work is poignant, animated, technically impressive, and often humorous.
