Ms. Jamie Adams' love for her state and country greatly influence her photography, and shows in all her work. While traveling through towns both large and small, she seek out vignettes that speak to her, expressing the spirit of Americana, past and present. Jamie's collection of photographs of these images includes not only representations of what people see every day, but also preserves those images that are slowly slipping away; from iconic to more humble images that will soon remain only as distant memories. Jamie's traveling experiences allow her to find, connect and preserve those images that define and describe America’s cultural heritage.
Ms. Adams's photographs have been seen in coffee table books (Nashville; Yesterday and Today), textbooks, magazines, and newspapers, on national and international levels. Additionally, her photographs have been in gallery exhibitions, and purchased for permanent and private collections. Jamie Adams is represented by international stock agencies in New York and London.
Recently; 10 of Jamie's photographs were featured on a digital billboard in one of Nashville's most highly traveled areas. Every day there is an estimated 50,000 cars that pass in the West End/Broadway avenues.
Jamie had a solo exhibition at the Nashville International Airport featuring 16 20×30 images. The show’s title, “Tennessee: Welcome to my home.” It featured photographs from Reelfoot Lake in West Tennessee to the sunsetting over the grand Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee. It was viewed by 3 million passengers and was exhibited for three months.
