This piece is one from a series titled Grid. The Grid is an organizational device, a plan an outline for an idea. I like the purity and simplicity of the concept and I use it to make purely whimsical art leading the eye through order and chaos
Don’s work is a crossover between pure abstraction and references to the natural world. Color and texture are key elements in his work. His effort is to play with chaos and create balance through layers of transparent color and hue.
