A flower found in all its serene and colorful glory, placed perfectly by the sun amidst the bright backdrop of a tiny cabin. This photo was taken during a lengthy sabbatical in Costa Rica, a place where I reignited my love of color and detail, and found ways to bring the two together as a means of bringing joy.
Vanessa 'Venusian' Edwards is a Brooklyn-based visual artist, photographer, and Temple alumna who thrives on color, concept, and creativity. Through visually stimulating editing, she loves to emphasize the aspect of story and human emotion in any single photograph. Her favorite saying regarding her work is "human emotion is a lost art", which is something she aims to capture in every shot.
Today she is collaborating with brands and artists across industries to bring visionary ideas to life, exploring herbology and the ceremony of drinking tea, and exploring somatic movement through practice and performance.
