Piece description from the artist
The Hong Kong Cultural Centre is a multipurpose performance facility in Tsim Sha Tsui area, Hong Kong.
Its defined geometry is a constant source of challenge and excercise for local photographers, who find inspiration especially in the strong shapes of the covered walkway surrounding the building.
Sergio Capuzzimati is an Italian architect and photographer based in Hong Kong.
His architecture background strongly influenced his photography work: through his lenses, he is constantly exploring the infinite scenarios that a city like Hong Kong is able to offer, digging out its soul and its archetypal elements with the use of bold colors and double exposure.
