Piece description from the artist
On I-25 Northbound from Albuquerque to Santa Fe, the landscape is riddled with the spirit of Americana, and the vast high desert. It is beautiful in all its subversive history. Coming across this hubcap perched like a scalp upon a borderline fence with San Felipe Pueblo, I couldn't help but wonder what the creator of the scene might have been considering. Perhaps it was just a winsome reflection on the landscape. Or perhaps it was an editorial. Who knows? Either way, the scene was peculiar and engaging. I couldn't help but photograph it.
