An old courtyard in Barcelona, bathed in the warm hues of a setting sun. The narrow street is flanked by buildings adorned with balconies and blooming flowers. Lanterns and string lights create a magical ambiance, illuminating the cobblestone path that leads to an archway at the far end. A solitary figure and a child walk hand in hand, adding a sense of life and intimacy to the scene. Oil, canvas. Signed. Varnished.
Painting has been my passion since childhood. Among many different techniques oil painting is my favorite.
Themes of my paintings are as variegated as our world: cities, people, life, animals, dramatic art, nature. I am greatly influenced by such famous artists like Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Isaac Levitan, Auguste Renoir. My work was strongly influenced by Picasso. The painting Girl on the Ball made a big impression on me in my childhood.
