A November morning at Hospital's Reef in La Jolla, California, USA. Hospital's Reef is a surfing spot, but during low tides the reef formations are exposed, and they are some of the best in the La Jolla area.
I love how everything in nature works together here…the clouds seem to be supported by the sea, the small cascade flows with no complaint by the reef. Everything works and flows together to give freely of nature's beauty.

Joseph is a self-taught photographer living in San Diego, California. Joseph wants to approach his photography from a place of simplicity and avoid making this enjoyable and creative process overburdened from a technical standpoint. He still continues working to improve his craft all the while though. His photographs are presented in a straightforward way and engage the creative process to produce photographs of familiar subjects in an impressionistic and abstract manner. His simple hope is that his photographic work promotes an interest in art and that it expresses joy and beauty.
