Bellagio on Lake Como feels like another world, a world of food and wine and cappuccinos. A world where it's sunset all day long. I wanted to find the perfect place that would capture what it feels like to wander the cobblestone streets and find a shaded store front to sit and sip coffee from.
Mark Lauman began practicing photography in early 2008 and quickly developed a passion for the art of the still image. His love for this artistic outlet stems from the clarity it provides the viewer; Mark is able to morph an initially abstract concept into an image with distinct aspects. He believes that any viewer should be able to understand his work, and that all viewers should feel an invitation to consider the intentions behind each piece.
Mark currently lives and works in Golden, Colorado.
