Jug Bay Summer

Piece description from the artist

Tucked away outside of the city, there is a wetland that just begs for exploration. In early summer, the gently blowing grasses and curving broad leaves of the pickerel plants cover the shallows that invite kayakers to explore the marshy flats. This image began with an original landscape photograph that was transformed into a piece of impressionist art. Digitally painted with the exuberant greens of the early spring, this image is one I always return to in the gray winter season.
